    The North American Scientific Achievement Award is named in Honor of Ronald W. Estabrook and is sponsored by XenoTech.  This award is presented to an ISSX member who has made major scientific contributions to the field within the North American Region.

    The North American New Investigator Award is named in honor of James R. Gillette.  It is presented to an ISSX member or nonmember who has made significant contributions to the field within the North American Region.

    Submit an abstract for the general poster presentation.  Second Call Abstracts are due by Friday, August 10, 2012 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time (US).  

    Hotel Accommodations and Meeting Registration

    Accommodations are available at the Hilton Anatole Dallas Hotel and other nearby hotels.  We have arranged for a sub-block of rooms at the headquarters hotel at a discounted rate for students and postdocs in training. Attendees are responsible for making their own room reservations directly with the Hilton Anatole Dallas Hotel.  We recommend making your reservations for accommodations early to guarantee your room at ISSX’s negotiated discount rates.

    Rates:  $215 single/double – exclusive of taxes.  Additional person in room is $20.   Be sure to identify yourself as an ISSX Meeting attendee in order to secure the discounted rate.

    The reservation cut-off date is Monday, September 24.  We cannot guarantee that our block of rooms will not sell out prior to this date––therefore, early reservations are strongly recommended.
